Montage Mtn Fire

11/19/24 - Members were called to assist with a DIstrict 11 with a 50 acre fire. 7 members and our engine responded to assist with mop up operations.

Beaver Fire

11/9/24 - Members were called to assist with a 15 acre fire in Clumbia County 7 members and our engine responded to assist with mop up operations.

Valley Road Fire -Cass Township

11/9/24-11/10/24 - Crew responds to 47 acre wildfire in cass township with 12 members and 2 Engines. The crew preformed Fireing operations as well as completed mop up operations.

Emergency Response to Washington Township

11/8/24 - While working on our engines at our station multiple fire company’s where called to a brush fire in Washington township. Engine S-18 and Engine S-218 went responding with 5 and assisted with tree felling and fire suppression efforts.

Mosiers Knob Fire

11/2/24 - The crew was called to assist with a 18 acre fire in Monroe County. The fire broke out in the Delaware Water gap, National Recreation Area. The crew worked with the National Park Service to extinguish the fire.

Fire Near Skytop Coal

10/23/24 - Crew called to assist with fire in Mahanoy City. 

Long Run Road Fire

10/20/24 - Members were called to assist with a wildfire. Multiple days were spent at this location completing mop up operations

Jim Thorpe Fire

11/19/23 - Members were called to assist with a 5 acre fire in Jim Thorpe 15 members were present and assisted with mop up operations.

Windmill Fire Day #2 & #3

5/5/23 - 5/7/23 - Members were called back to an area near the previous fire that occurred the weekend before. Crews acted as a initial attack crew the first day and continued mop up the second day. Between the two days over 2,000 feet of hose was layed out for containment and mop up work, between the two days over 25 members were present.

Windmill Fire

5/4/23 - While 10 memberers were assitiong with a fire in district 7 we were requested to assist with a fire in out own district, the crew responded with 8 members and assisted with mop up operations. The fire totaled just shy of 150 acres burned.

District 7 Fire

6/3/23 - 6/4/23 - The support crew was requested to assist with a fire in district 7 in Snyder County the crew responded with 10 members and spent 2 days assisting with the fire. They fire is estimated 150 acres burned.

Cass Township Fire

5/30/23 - Crew responds to fire in cass township with 12 members.

Emergency Response to Fire Along I-81

4/25/23 - While preparing to have a crew meeting multiple fire company’s where called to a brush fire along I-81. Engine S-18 went responding with 5 and aditional 8 members responded to the scene. The Fire totaled 1.7 aceres burned.

Train Track Work Sparks Brush Fire

5/23/23 - Railroad workers were preforming track work on a section of railroad track along the Susquehanna River on Monday, the work sparked a fire near the tracks on a steap mountain side. DCNR requested the support crew on Tuesday afternoon to reinforce fire lines with leaf blower’s and extinguish hot spots. While the crew battled the extremely step slop of the mountain side other members shutled over 2000 gallons of water that they drafted from a near by pound to the fire with our 2 engines. We had 12 members on scene and the fire burned approximately 3 acres.

Dauphin County - Peters Mountain Fire

4/11/23 - Crews From Weiser Wildland Firefighters Inc assited with a brush fire on Peters Mountain in Dauphin County. Our crew assted in efforts to contain the fire and were able to bring the fire under control just before dark. The Fire totaled 10 aceres burned.
